AC Milan are in the market for a new right winger ahead of the summer transfer window and the name of Gerard Deulofeu continues to be linked.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, Milan are looking into the possibility of bringing Deulofeu back five years after his six-month loan spell in the second half of the 2016-17 season, during which he scored 4 goals and added 3 assists in 18 games.
The Spaniard has remained very attached to the Rossoneri and would certainly be enthusiastic if the possibility of a return materialised. This season he is having an excellent campaign too having netted 12 goals for Udinese which represents the best figure in his career if one does not count the season in Barcelona B.
Furthermore, he has also been able to adapt to playing on the right, a position there where Milan must intervene. For now it is only a suggestion – fast, good at dribbling and scoring – seem to respond well to what the Rossoneri want.
Please, bring Deulofeu back.

How has Deulofeu been able to adapt playing on the right, position of need for Milan, when he literally only plays as a second striker in a 2 man front for Udinese.

If we can get Delofeu and Dybala — both of those players have great talent, know/understand Serie A football, both can play either CAM or RW (our 2 weakest positions this season by far) so they can actually both start and if either one of them gets hurt or is suspended from yellow/red cards, then the other can even fill in as backup to one another as long as we have one other good option for either CAM or RW on the bench (like Rebic).
I love versatile players who can play multiple positions well — like Kalulu, Florenzi, Rebic, Krunic. These players are so valuable and allow Pioli to have many more options for substitutions, formations, in events of injury, red cards, etc.
Delofeu can serve as an excellent backup to Renato Sanches at the 10/CAM and/or for Dybala at RW. I think we should sign all 3 players.
