It appears to be a very busy day at Casa Milan as AC Milan are advancing on multiple fronts with regards to the midfield.

Firstly, several sources have reported that Milan are now very close to sealing a deal worth €22m plus bonuses for Torino’s Samuele Ricci, after positive contacts over the past few hours. However, he is not the only player that is the subject of negotiations.

Milan to raise Jashari bid

According to MilanNews, Milan are working on several tables at once. In addition to Ricci, they are evaluating Granit Xhaka, Javi Guerra and Ardon Jashari, and it is the latter that seems to have caught their attention most.

The Swiss is not a true regista like the other three, but a dynamic player who can cover multiple roles in midfield. He is a modern profile, dynamic and already with experience in the Champions League.

Milan will offer up to €35m including bonuses for Jashari. The Belgian team are putting up a wall, thanks to the long duration of his contract. To move it, a further improved offer would be needed, of at least €30-32m as a fixed base.

We will see what choices Tare and Furlani will make on Jashari, who is admired a lot because of his age, characteristics and personality.

As a reminder, Belgian source HLN also claimed that the player seems to have his heart set on moving to Milan, which could favour negotiations.

  1. Ricci, Jashiri, Xhaka and Modric with Bondo and Fofana is a great midfield… if Tare pulls this off he’ll be the MVP of the season… plus all of them are close and it’s only June…

Adli and Pobega situations are interesting to see… both fit in Allegri’a playstyle

      1. last year we had Emerson, Morata, Tammy, Sottil… the fact is that he and Allegri are doing already way more than the three stooges

Where is football manager again?! or are you just fan of glazing the yankees?

  2. I still think this move doesn’t happen. With so the signings Milan claim to inter to make, there’s no way Furlani authorizes 35 mil for this kid.

Brugge holds all the cards. Long contract, PL money lurking, Milan just sold Reijnders and have money. No reason to drop the price.

    1. Plus is he really worth 35M€ ?
Like I get he looks great in highlights (he pulled some passes that none of our midfielders can make) but remember how Chukwueze looked in highlights. And this kid is from Jupiter while Chukwueze was from la Liga.
I’m not “doubting” him, just wondering.

  3. For less than the cost for Jashiri, Milan should pursue Malik Tillman from PSV. His value is rising every time he steps on the pitch and multiple PL teams are circling for him. Physical, technical and smart. Modric, Xhaka, Fofana and Tillman would give us the best midfield in Serie A. His value increased by $10 million over the past two weeks due to his play in the Gold Cup tournament. If he continues his fine play his transfer cost will be out of our reach.

    1. Tillman has a 35 mil clause only for Bayern and Leverkusen, the rest will have to pay more than. He’s good tho, I’ll give you that😁

    2. Tilman is great player but injury prone he plays 4 games and miss 34 games absolutely no we don’t need him

  4. Jashari, Ricci and Modric would be a great midfield mercato. If we add Xhaka or Guerra too that its 4+.

Jashari, Ricci, Modric, Guerra would be a great combination of youth and experience. Then Fofana and Bondo stays of the current players.

Musah, Pobega, Bennacer, Terracciano, Adli and R-L-C would have to find new clubs…

  5. I can’t really see us signing both Jashari and Ricci as well as Modric and Xhaka.

Rumours in the UK are that Jashari is likely Man Utd bound. At least that’s the one club we are less of a basket case than… although they still have crazy big spending power.

  6. I ask one more time, and will continue to ask, as long it’s necessary: what the bloody FVCK a shinter fan is doin’ here?!

    1. Are you so pathetic that seeing an Inter fan makes you angry? The comments pages are open to anyone. The Inter Fan speaks a lot more sense than some of the so called Milan fans here.
