Mattia Liberali’s future is not expected to be at AC Milan, with the club eyeing a permanent sale and several teams interested.
Liberali had a strange 2024-25 season, much like his team-mate Francesco Camarda. He dazzled in the preseason tour of the United States and got some first team minutes, but ultimately shuttled between Milan Futuro and the Primavera side.

Not only that, but his contract expires in 12 months and there has been nothing to suggest a renewal is imminent, despite Igli Tare’s public admiration. In fact, recent reports have actually claimed that he is more likely to leave the club than sign a long-term deal, which would feel like a shame.
Mattia Liberali: Moretto’s latest
Now, Matteo Moretto has given an update on his social media profile and he confirms the previous negative feelings that he had regarding the playmaker continuing his career with the Rossoneri.

“Milan, it is expected that Mattia Liberali will be called up by Massimiliano Allegri for the summer training camp, but as of today, the outlook on his future remains unchanged: efforts are underway for a permanent transfer,” he said.
“Parma, Lecce, Spezia, and a few other teams from Serie A and B are interested in him. The decision will be made in the coming weeks.”

Is he really not good enough to stay?
18 years old and a key player in the youth national teams.
With only Serie A and Coppa i dont think he will get many chance, and futuro will play in Serie D so i think its better to let him go with buyback clause like Camarda
Agreed 100%. Buyback clause will give us the upper hand should he reach his potential.
extend contrat then loan him out will be better,
bbc not always working, remember Aubameyang?
he just 18 & still 1of the best in his age group
Yet another regret for the future
If he is that good they can buyback him LOL
Better than warmth the bench from summer to summer
Best would be a dry loan, thing is he with these deals they get resold again before they pop of. Under 20 players in particular, they have quite a few years to go before they reach their potential. Kerkez is a great example of that.
How about many of our youngster who failed to reach their potential because of dry loan to different club every season? Do you think serie A team want to play or develop them just to let them back to us at the end of season for nothing?
Give him a chance to show himself. A new contract and then let him go for two seasons to develop elsewhere. If he succeeds then we bring him back.
Don’t understand this. This boy is good for his age. Just needs playing time.
This is better than just go on Loan
Kerkez 2.0
Hopefully they put buy-back clause on this one, and could also see him blossom in Parma with their new coach (ex Arteta assistant)
I guess Tare & Allegri want to win the scudetto immediately and therefore are looking for +30-year-olds instead. I can understand that but let’s hope they’ll at least insert a buy-back clause in the deal.
Do they learn nothing in releasing our own talents? Just simply do what Madrid does. Never let our talents leave without having a form of control towards ’em.
Liberali is a great talent… I hope our management make some clause in the contract to secure in case he become a real player…
Let him to parma and use CB….+- some Cash….option to buy back….and thats it
This will be a great mistake. If he must be sold, then a favourable buy back has to be inserted. Maybe he can be used in the negotiations with Parma for Leoni, however I still feel he has the talent to be a huge Milan success
It is unfortunate that Milan do not give him chances. We have player from other clubs better syndrome
We want to become “more Italian” then sell one of our most promising young Italian players LOL.
Carmada also looks to be on his way out
So glad our club is run by a competent man in Furlani 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Well said
I have nothing to add
Then we wonder why La Nazionale is light on talent…. Because of sh** like this. We bring in a 40yo but try to offload the next gen players like Camarda and Liberali…
The kid doesn’t want to renew at least we will have some advantage. We lost a lot of credibility because of banter era. Aside from Carmada and possibly Torriani these youngster don’t want to fight for 1st team opportunities. At least Gabbia never wanted to quit. This is the issue
Yea and the problem is exactly what they’re doing or have done to Gabbia and Calabria for instance. They prefer other players and talents than those who come through the youth system. There are other clubs that do a better job than us. If Gabbia is the one they look to as what their future would look like then I can’t fault them for jumping ship
If this boy is in Barcelona he be playing for the first team. This boy played in the pre-season last year and he was superb why now give him the chance. Infant if Milan sell this boy then my Milan as no future
Far too small and nowhere close to being among the best of our youth team players. Scotti is much, much better.
