The new sports decree in Italy will have an effect on several things, and it could be a benefit to AC Milan, it seems.
In the past two years, there have been several discussions about contracts and taxes in Italian football and this week, the latest arrived. Earlier this week, reports suggested that eight-year contracts could be introduced.

Whilst this will impact several things, it could also play a big part in the future of clubs, like Milan, which is what TuttoMercatoWeb, via MilanNews, have looked at today.
Youth contracts
According to the report, the new regulations would be beneficial to clubs for several reasons, mainly due to amortisation. However, the other big bonus relates to the futures of young players, who can be tied to clubs for longer.
Of course, contracts can be more ‘lucrative’, so to speak, over a longer course of time, giving the clubs more certainty and security over their situations. The big thing, though, is that the effect on the balance sheets would not be big.
Security contracts, then, could become rather common, should the players agree to them (of course), for young talents. The focus will remain on the big value players, but it can certainly be effective for retaining starlets.
For a club like the Rossoneri, who boast a rich youth academy with several upcoming stars, this could be a tool that can be taken advantage of.

On topic: Italy needs longer contracts for at least one way to have parity with English clubs. It’s a bit risky for youth though, getting potentially tied into long contracts where the club have power even if they play well… those will either need to have raise steps negotiated in or some sort of salary arbitration like MLB has.

If you want to build strong national team, FIGC must create rule that Italian club Seri A-B must included / must play more time of 3-4 Their academy players, in every league matches.
