MN: Full training at Milanello – latest on Lazetic, Ibrahimovic, Tomori and absentees

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a regular training session at Milanello today as preparations continue for the derby against Inter after the break one week from tomorrow.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the Rossoneri team trained fully today at Milanello. Marko Lazetic got a runout for the first time as he did some athletic tests and some personalised training.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Fikayo Tomori were also present but they worked in the gym as they continue to recover from their respective Achilles and knee problems.

The absentees include Franck Kessie who will return from the African Cup of Nations on Sunday evening after the Ivory Coast were knocked out, Fode Ballo-Touré who is still at AFCON but is injury, plus the Italian national team members Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Sandro Tonali and Alessio Romagnoli.

The rest of the group trained under the eyes of Stefano Pioli but also Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini, who took time away from a busy mercato to watch on.
