Tuttosport: Milan’s plan to get Renato Sanches complicates as Juventus enter the race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face competition in the race to sign Renato Sanches from Lille this summer from rivals Juventus, according to a report.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are looking to replace Franck Kessie who is likely to leave at the end of this season, and the name that continues to convince the management the most is that of Renato Sanches.

The Rossoneri already tried to sign him in January but the attempt was unsuccessful, however Milan will certainly try again in the summer. Given that he has a contract that is expiring in 2023, Lille will be forced into the next summer transfer market to sell him.

Milan have been on his trail for some time, but are not the only club that have set their sights on the former Bayern Munich man as Juventus too have made some enquiries, while he has many admirers in England too.

From what filters in Portugal, in the summer a good transfer market battle between Milan, Juventus and the top Premier League clubs is expected, all while Lille wait for official offers and hope for an auction.
