ML: Milan eye €65m Liverpool midfielder Keita as Klopp wants Neves – Rangnick could be key

AC Milan could make a move to try and sign Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita with the Premier League side possibly looking to sell, a report claims.

According to a report from MilanLive, the Reds spent €65million to snatch Keita from RB Leipzig three years ago but he is not considered a starter by Jurgen Klopp, racking up just nine appearances in the Premier League all season.

Keita wants to relaunch himself and several Bundesliga clubs are thinking of giving him a chance, but the midfielder could go back to being an idea for Milan.

The Rossoneri have looked at the Guinea international in the past, and with Liverpool stepping up their attempts to land Wolves star Ruben Neves bringing him to Italy could be easier.

Keita is certainly a profile that Ralf Rangnick knows very well, as the 25-year-old worked with the German during his spells at both Red Bull Salzburg and Leipzig shirts. Rangnick could therefore be a key factor in the choice of his future team.
