ML: Milan have €70m-rated duo on striker wish list ahead of summer window

By Oliver Fisher -

The Milan management have two names in mind as they look to sign a new centre-forward in the summer transfer window, a report claims.

A number of sources are reporting that Milan want a young striker who will arrive ahead of next season to grow under Zlatan Ibrahimovic before eventually taking the baton. Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com reported that Milan are interested in Darwin Nunez of Benfica, who has scored four goals (plus seven assists) in 20 league appearances this season.

Now, MilanLive are also reporting that Milan have set their sights on Nunez as one of two possible options to come in and work under the wing of Ibrahimovic. The 21-year-old is a Uruguay international and would cost around €30m to buy in the upcoming window.

The other name mentioned in the report is Dusan Vlahovic, who has 12 goals for Fiorentina this season and is a player that Milan will see first hand later today. He is a physical striker with a great instinct in front of goal and with a pretty good left foot. He currently has a €40m asking price, but the price could drop in the event of him not renewing his contract.

  1. If Elliot truly wants us to go back at the very top, pay Dortmund those 110-110 mil for Haaland, give him 12, 13 mil per season & there you go for the next 10 years! Vlahovic is fine, I’ve never heard of the Uruguyian guy, but just as Vlahovic, I’m sure he’s no where close to Haaland!
Although, seeing how his friend JP Gauhe is treated in Milan, I’ve doubts he’ll take the offer, even if Milan had those insane money!
