ML: Probable Milan XI to face Torino – four changes at the back plus Calabria in midfield

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is expected to rotate the defensive department for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia game against Torino, but the other selection choices are basically forced.

According to the latest from MilanLive, Sandro Tonali needs a bit more time to recover after coming off during Saturday’s 2-0 win at San Siro and therefore Davide Calabria and Franck Kessie should be in the midfield.

Rafael Leao should remain as the centre-forward with Jens Petter Hauge, Brahim Diaz and Samu Castillejo behind. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, on the other hand, is ready to increase his playing time in view of next Monday’s trip to Cagliari, during which he is likely to start.

Ciprian Tatarusanu should get the nod in net with Andrea Conti and Diogo Dalot the right and left-backs respectively and Pierre Kalulu partnering Alessio Romagnoli.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Conti, Kalulu (Kjaer), Romagnoli, Dalot; Kessie, Calabria; Castillejo, Brahim, Hauge; Leao.
