MN: Another injury boost for Milan as Romagnoli returns to working with team-mates

By Oliver Fisher -

Centre-back Alessio Romagnoli is closing in on a return to action as he has almost fully shaken off his muscle problem, a report claims.

Romagnoli has been sidelined for the last few games with a thigh issue that has kept him out of action, though it seems he is now over the worst and is not far away from being able to get back out on the pitch.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Romagnoli started working in a group again today and had his first training session with his team-mates since the injury. The defender is in much better shape and the intention is for him to find an optimal condition before the call-up

With nine cup finals between now and the end of the season Pioli needs all hands on deck if the team are to salvage the excellent work done through the first half of the campaign and secure a top four spot.
