MN: Aston Villa and Sevilla close on other targets; free run for Spurs at Milan forward

By Oliver Fisher -

Premier League side Spurs may have a free run at AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek as two of their competitors close on other targets, a report claims.

Despite amassing a goal and an assist in Wednesday night’s 3-0 win over SPAL, Piatek continues to be linked with a move away from Milan.

SportMediaset reported during the game that Sevilla are now the ‘leading contenders’ to sign the 24-year-old, ahead of the previously linked Spurs and Aston Villa, while Calciomercato.com claimed they had made an offer of a six-month loan with obligation to buy set at €30m.

According to MilanNews.it though, it may be Tottenham who are best place to land the Poland international after all.

That is because Villa and Sevilla are moving closer to signing other targets: the Birmingham side are set to sign Mbwana Samatta from Genk, while the Spaniards have closed a deal for Leganes centre-forward Youssef En-Nesyri.
