MN: Why Chukwueze is the winger that Milan have been missing

By Euan Burns -

There are many players that AC Milan are being linked with right now for a move, but one that has attracted the most attention is Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal.

As reported by Milan News, he is the type of right winger that Milan have been missing for a long time. There is a belief that with Chukwueze in the team, Milan will score a lot more goals.

The rotation of Alexis Saelemaekers, Junior Messias and occasionally Brahim Diaz has been useful for Milan in a functional sense, but the team has lacked a high number of goals and assists from that flank when compared to what Rafael Leao does on the left.

He got 24 goals and assists for Villarreal last season across all competitions which is much higher than anyone who has played on the right for Milan. By adding the Nigerian to the team, there could be a lot more firepower across the whole attack.

  1. I think the reality is, we will sign players like him before they emerge as capable players. The prices for players that demonstrate consistent output are simply outside the proposed budgets. Given we need so many more players to even compete for a CL spot, these self imposed limitations make even less sense at this specific time when we operated at a profit

  2. He only have 1 years left contract. Villareal must sell now . But it wont easy due to EPL club enter the race, AC Milan have advantage can offer him starting spot RW

    1. I hope you are tall and can play in that RW so there’s no need for this Villareal kid.

Remind me of Vini Jr and Rodrygo height.
