Galatasaray have rejected the idea of cutting Alvaro Morata’s loan short, despite AC Milan putting €4m on the table for them to do so. As such, the striker’s move to Como is now at risk.
Ever since the start of the summer, Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Como. The Spaniard is keen on returning to Serie A and at Como, he would also work with his compatriot Cesc Fabregas, who is the head coach.

However, the move has been held up by Galatasaray all summer long. As Morata is on loan from Milan, Como can’t negotiate directly with the Turkish side. Instead, Milan need to reach an agreement with the latter regarding cutting the loan short.
Galatasaray have rejected the first offer
According to reports from MilanNews this evening, Milan had put €4m on the table for Galatasaray to cut the loan short, but the Turkish side rejected the offer. Despite securing Victor Osimhen, they believe Morata can be very useful for the upcoming season and would like to keep him.

It should be noted that Galatasaray paid €6m for an initial 12-month loan in January, so Milan offered a little bit more than half of this loan fee back in exchange for letting Morata go. As for Como, it’s certainly not the response they expected.
It remains to be seen if there is a compromise to be made. Milan are pushing for the move as Como are offering a permanent transfer, worth around €10m, while there are no guarantees that Galatasaray will redeem Morata at the end of the loan.

if im galatasaray and i know milan are getting 10m, im holding out for 10m.
Lol paying for a player to leave after we bought him only a year ago and wanted him gone only 6 months on
Bonkers
It is morata want to leave to gala after 6 month in ACM not the opposite. And now he want go to como ? Very incosistent and unstable player
Cheap is always expensive
If Galatasary want to keep him this bad, then they should also offer a permanent move guarantee . But I don’t think they would
This is expensive loan, i think it was around 6m€ and if they don’t buy him in winter then they need to pay another 3m€…. but for us its one way or another… if he stay in Gala we make money, if not we make money from sell to other club… his future is not importent for us if he don’t want to play in Milan
That is if Como comes back with an offer in January…. if he comes back and no offers arrive in January then we are stuck with a player that is not part of the team with a huge wage. Another master piece of the trio fantastico management we had
Just keep him on loan to Galatasaray.
Much to say about Morata but he is intensive enough to score goals in a good team. Galatasaray have a good team for the Turkish league and Morata will get chances to play and score even if Osimhen is there.
If he scores a lot then we can get more for him. If he doesn’t then we can still get up to 10 or a bit less.
