MN: Elliott will not hold back in January – the three positions that could be strengthened

By Oliver Fisher -

Elliott Management will make funds available for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to strengthen the squad in January, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Elliott are very happy with how things are going and in January they will not hold back in strengthening the team.

The management are working to make Milan even more competitive and have even more strength in depth available for the second half of the season.

It is no surprise that the report mentions how the first role that will be reinforced is centre-back, and the most suitable profiles are being sifted through to compliment Kjaer, Romagnoli and Gabbia.

Attention should also be paid to the midfield though, because after Tonali, Kessie and Bennacer there is emptiness, given Krunic cannot play a holding role.

A right winger could also arrive if opportunities arise, and in general Milan will be ready if there are opportunities. The environment within the club is one of collaboration; everyone is rowing on the same side and the results on the field are visible.
