MN: Fans experiencing same anxieties as one month ago but this Milan deserves trust

By Oliver Fisher -

There are parallels between the situation AC Milan fans are experiencing now compared with exactly one month ago, a report has claimed.

MilanNews writes how a month ago back on May 21 – the day before Sassuolo vs. Milan at the Mapei Stadium in the Scudetto-deciding game – there was an air of tension. Here we are on June 21, one month from the eve of that game, and there is an air of tension.

Going into the Sassuolo game there was no certainty of winning the Scudetto but there was a belief in the players to show their capabilities, and the media reports where Neroverdi players attempted to play some mind games provoked anxieties that such an important game requires, but also a motivation that was transformed into energy.

The statements of Paolo Maldini a month ago and the recent ones of Paolo Scaroni have worried the fans, while the fact neither Maldini nor Ricky Massara have renewed their contracts and Divock Origi has not even arrived yet is causing similar anxiety.

The feeling is similar to that of a month ago though: there is no certainty that everything will go perfectly, but this Milan from top to bottom have shown that they deserve trust, and soon the tension can be transformed into positive energy.

  1. #RenewMaldini
    #GazidisOut

just get rid of that asshole Gazidis, he doesn’t understand shit about football and only cares about money. He’s the one that prevented Maldini from signing a lot of quality players and if it were up to him we wouldn’t be champions now. I they don’t renew his contract

  2. Do we need these tensions all the time? It’s not enough winning the series a. We qualified for the champions league last season,n we were knocked out in the first round, not bcos our opponents were too strong, but bcos we didn’t have enough quality players for d cause. How did Milan get to this point?

    1. We were knocked out because referee. Atletico’s penalty should have not been given, Porto’s goal was a foul against Bennacer. Without them we would have qualified for round of 16.

  3. BTW, I’ve read on Football Italia that Neymar was proposed to Juve on loan… I guess it’s only a gossip, but I would simply LOVE it if it were true: the eternal ‘wannabe ballon d’or’ cry baby prima donna would simply be the final nail in Vecchia Putana’s coffin LOL…

  4. Have some faith and patience with the new and old owners, Maldini and company.

People nowadays expect everything happen and fall on them immediately
