MN: Freiburg submit an ‘interesting offer’ for Krunic – the player is reflecting

By Oliver Fisher -

SC Freiburg and AC Milan have begun negotiations regarding midfielder Rade Krunic, according to a report.

The Bosnia international joined from Empoli last summer but has struggled for game time, even finding himself behind Lucas Biglia in the pecking order towards the end of the season.

Il Corriere dello Sport reported earlier on Wednesday (via MilanNews) that Krunic could leave Milan in the summer transfer window and that Freiburg have joined Torino in pursuit.

MilanNews are now claiming that the German club – according to what has been learned from Bosnian sources – are pressing Milan regarding Krunic and have formulated an interesting offer.

Milan are evaluating it but in the meantime the player’s approval would be needed. The 26-year-old is pondering whether to leave after just one season or to refuse the chance of a move to the Bundesliga.

This is amid ongoing speculation that Tiemoue Bakayoko could sign for the Rossoneri and that Tommaso Pobega is set to be given a chance in preseason too.
