Despite what other sources are reporting, it seems as though Pierre Kalulu is the favourite to start over Diogo Dalot against Parma tomorrow.
According to MilanNews, there is a battle underway between Pierre Kalulu and Diogo Dalot, with the Frenchman currently appearing to be the favourite over the Manchester United loanee. Dalot was not picked for the game against Sampdoria at the weekend as he had just played 90 minutes three times over the international break.
That means that – unlike against Sampdoria – there will be a more natural right-back put in that position and the Alexis Saelemaekers experiment will not be repeated, as the Belgian instead will be deployed in his usual role against the Serie A strugglers.
It represents an opportunity for whomever is chosen to impress Pioli, given that Davide Calabria is continuing his recovery from a minor knee surgery and will probably be out for the next two or three games.
