MN: Latest on Ibra, Bennacer, Romagnoli, Kjaer, Calabria and Leao ahead of Man Utd clash

By Oliver Fisher -

Some updates have arrived regarding the fitness of a number of key players ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League return leg against Manchester United.

Milan will welcome United to San Siro on Thursday night knowing that a 0-0 draw or a win would be enough to see them into the quarter-finals of the competition, but they will have to be on their game against a side that will welcome back the likes of Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and possibly even Paul Pogba too.

According to the latest from Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ismael Bennacer and Alessio Romagnoli participated in the entire training session with the rest of the squad, implying that they will be fully available for the game on Thursday.

Simon Kjaer is fine as well, but forward Rafael Leao did an individual workout. Davide Calabria meanwhile is working separately from the rest of the team but will attempt to recover for the game, while Mario Mandzukic will return after the break.
