Leo Duarte has suffered yet another injury problem after he sustained in issue in his right thigh in training on Saturday.
According to MilanNews, Duarte reported a problem in his right thigh during Saturday’s final preparations for the game against Roma at Milanello.
The scan showed a low-grade distal lesion of the hamstring muscle, and a new check will be carried out in 7-10 days.
Back in November the club confirmed that Duarte underwent an operation at the Alfredson Tendon Clinic in Umeå to ‘treat a fracture to the calcaneus at the point where it meets the left achilles tendon’ – missing four months.
He has been out for the last few weeks after sustaining a problem with his flexor muscle earlier in June, and although he had recovered he has now suffered this latest setback.
It continues the trend of a frustrating season for the Brazilian since his arrival from Flamengo just under a year ago.
