MN: Milan seek January move for Premier League target but summer is more likely

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan want to make a January move for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly but that is looking like a big ask, meaning a free transfer in the summer is more likely at this stage.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Rossoneri are desperately seeking a new central defender to arrive in January as there are a number of injured players, and Bournemouth’s Kelly seems to be the favoured choice.

Unfortunately, it seems that Bournemouth have got no intention of selling the 25-year-old in January even though they know it is likely he’ll leave in the summer for free.

That means that Milan will have to look elsewhere to get the immediate depth in defence that is needed, but they will likely still try to secure Kelly for the summer transfer window.

Milan are not short of potential options with names like Tiago Djalo, Finn van Breemen and Radu Dragusin being linked.
