MN: Milan make a definitive decision regarding left-back signing

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli seems to have made a decision about who he will use as the deputy left-back for the coming season, a report claims.

As MilanNews reports, Milan have been trying to sell Fode Ballo-Toure this summer after two seasons with the club and use the money to sign a more functional left-back than him as deputy Theo Hernandez.

However, the fact that the Senegalese full-back has not accepted any of the offers that have come through to him which has complicated the plans of the management.

Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio had identified Riccardo Calafiori as his replacement from FC Basel, but now it seems that the plans have changed entirely.

Pioli and his staff are very happy with what Davide Bartesaghi showed during preseason. He was taken on the tour of the United States and showed very positive signs, even if he did also play as a centre-back.

Alessandro Florenzi is also considered a possibility as deputy to Theo given his verastility.
