MN: Milan open to idea of potential loan spell for midfielder with three Serie A clubs keen

AC Milan are now considering loaning Tommaso Pobega out again as they look to bring in a new midfielder, according to a report.

The future of Pobega has come into question this summer as he returned after an excellent loan spell at Spezia, his first real experience playing consistent Serie A minutes. A number of hypotheses have been mentioned, including a new loan spell, a permanent sale or even that he may stay and become part of the rotations in midfield.

According to Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews, the Rossoneri management are indeed considering the possibility of a new loan spell for the 22-year-old, with three clubs interested. Sampdoria, Cagliari and Torino have all expressed an interest in signing Pobega, who could depart on a temporary basis if a new more natural defensive midfielder is signed.

The management know that playing time is crucial for Pobega at such a vital phase in his development.
