AC Milan are set to be active in the transfer market this summer in order to complete the squad ahead of next season, a report claims.
According to MilanNews, Maldini and Massara will – with the input of Pioli – try to build a team as close as possible to the tactical philosophy that the head coach wishes to deploy.
In the next few hours there will be a meeting involving all the members of the management to define the guidelines for the transfer market.
For the defence, a right-back will be bought to slot into the starting line-up, as well as a left-back to become the new deputy to Theo Hernandez, as well as a young centre-back.
In midfield, a player will arrive who is able to take over from Kessie and/or Bennacer within games, while there will be other signings in that department in line with departures.
Maldini and Moncada will also try to give Pioli a right winger who is a step up from Castillejo and Saelemaekers. Then a centre-forward will arrive to be the back-up to Ibrahimovic, who will remain.
