Franck Kessie Milan

AC Milan will face Udinese underneath the San Siro floodlights on Friday evening and it’s a very important game for the Rossoneri in their Scudetto pursuit. After last week’s slip-up, they need to bounce back with a win.

Stefano Pioli’s men got lucky as the 2-2 draw against Salernitana didn’t punish them in the standings, seeing as all the top teams dropped points. In fact, they actually gained one point of Inter as they lost to Sassuolo.

According to MilanNews, the manager will make one change to the starting XI we saw last Saturday. Franck Kessie has started the last two games on the bench but he should get the chance from start on Friday, seeing as he did well against Salernitana and also because Ismael Bennacer is suspended.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Pioli has always made it clear that Milan can rely on the midfielder in spite of the contract rumours off the pitch. And the Ivorian’s composed performance off the bench last time out was proof of that.
