In about 24 hours, AC Milan will take on Inter underneath the floodlights at San Siro, keen on bouncing back from the draw against Porto mid-week. It will be a tough but exciting game for both sides.
Stefano Pioli confirmed earlier today that he has decided the starting XI for the game, but he obviously didn’t reveal it. According to MilanNews, there will be five changes compared to the clash against Porto.
Simon Kjaer was rested mid-week but will be back in the heart of the defence tomorrow, which is a boost for the Rossoneri. Theo Hernandez is suspended and will be replaced by Fode Ballo-Toure, who is back in the squad after a trauma injury.
Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie should partner up in the centre of the pitch, benching Ismael Bennacer who wasn’t as successful against Porto. There will be one change in the attacking trio as Rade Krunic will replace Brahim Diaz. The Spaniard, therefore, isn’t 100% after Covid-19.
Finally, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play from the first minute and these are the kind of games he lives for, so it will be very exciting to see him tomorrow.
