During today’s meeting at Casa Milan, the Rossoneri management and Beppe Riso discussed various topics, but above all the availability of Monaco’s Pietro Pellegri.
According to MilanNews.it, the meeting lasted for almost an hour, during which Milan asked the agent about Pellegri’s situation with the French side.
The Rossoneri did so in an attempt to unlock Andre Silva’s move to Monaco, which fell through due to economic complications. Therefore, a swap deal involving Pellegri was put on the table.
However, Monaco are not too keen on the proposal, as they aren’t convinced of the Portuguese striker. Furthermore, they consider Pellegri unsellable unless a very big offer arrives.
So, with that, it seems that Andre Silva’s chances of joining Monaco have completely vanished. Meanwhile, Jorge Mendes is at work to find him a new destination ahead of the start of the season.
