MN: The money Milan have earned from the Champions League after semi-final exit

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are now out of the Champions League and for that reason, the club can get a clearer look at just how lucrative their journey to the semi-finals has been, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Rossoneri are set to walk away from the 2022/23 Champions League with almost €75 million in the bank.

Given Inter have now reached the final, they are set to get an additional €15.5m just for taking part which means they can end on around €90m.

Milan’s immense payments come from qualification payments every time they passed a round of the tournament, as well as bonuses for winning specific matches, and also the share of television money.

Whilst this money is superb news for the general finances of the club, the excitement is has generated will quickly drain if AC Milan do not make it into the tournament next season through the league.

    1. Yes that money is for debt and also loan that red bird have to Elliott. Milan must find some others sources for revenue because 75 million is not enough for players salaries.

  1. What everyone should care about is what happens on the pitch. I’m sick of you “accountants fans” here. Milan must invest in the squad. They must take risk like our rivals have done even though they have a heavier debt hanging on their shoulder.

    1. Milan can’t do that easily. Due to contract they signed with uefa for breaking ffp. Next season is most important domestically because in season 2024 2025 new format of champions league starting where more revenue for champions league is possible. So in next year Milan play in serie a is much more worth than anything else
