MN: Negotiations over Kamada live and concrete as Milan aim to beat competition

By Oliver Fisher -

Despite the suggestions that things had gone quiet on the Daichi Kamada front, a report has emerged stating that it is very much still an ongoing negotiation.

MilanNews reports that there are ‘live’ negotiations ongoing between the Milan management and Kamada in a ‘concrete’ way. Talks are therefore still going with the Japan international, whose contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires at the end of the season.

The latest set of discussions was held very recently, and the Rossoneri would like to get ahead of the competition, especially from Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga who are pushing to keep him in Germany.

Due to the fact that his deal expires at the end of next month there would be no transfer fee involved which obviously appeals to Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Regarding the terms of a potential contractual agreement for the 26-year-old, the report mentions the figure of €3m net per season plus bonuses.
