Ismael Bennacer has regained some form in the last few weeks and AC Milan are hoping that he can continue on this path. In fact, it looks like he will get an opportunity to show his qualities tomorrow.

The Algerian was benched in the game against Lazio as Stefano Pioli opted to start Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali instead. The former midfielder has been a bit criticised lately and especially today, with today’s papers suggesting that he has decided to leave Milan.
According to MilanNews, it looks like Bennacer could play from the first minute tomorrow, replacing Kessie in the midfield tandem. It wasn’t mentioned if this was due to the recent rumours, but most likely not.
Pioli somewhat defended the Ivorian during his press conference earlier today (read here), stating that he has sacrificed himself a lot in the past two games (mainly against Inter). It’s possible, therefore, that the manager just wants to give him some rest ahead of what’s to come.
