MN: Pioli has three major selection doubts to resolve ahead of Torino’s visit

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make limited changes to his starting line-up for tomorrow’s game against Torino, a report claims.

According to the latest from MilanNews, it is unlikely that Pioli will make big changes to the starting eleven, even if some players will be back in the squad list. Ciprian Tatarusanu will be in goal with Davide Calabria and Fode Ballo-Toure the right-back and left-back respectively. Theo Hernandez has returned from Covid, but will start on the bench.

In the centre of defence one of Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer could rest with Alessio Romagnoli pawing to return to the line-up. The double pivot could see Franck Kessie come back in for Ismael Bennacer and partner Sandro Tonali.

In attack there is a battle between Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the role of starting centre-forward and the Frenchman is currently the most likely to start. Alexis Saelemaekers, Rade Krunic and Rafael Leao – we can presume – would complete the front four.
