MN: Pioli not expected to stray from winning formula vs. Bologna

AC Milan’s recent form in Serie A means that Stefano Pioli should have little to decide when naming his starting eleven for this weekend’s fixture against Bologna.

As MilanNews writes given the results against Roma and Udinese, there is no need to change things. Especially because there have been no injuries in this time.

As a result, Maignan will start in goal, Calabria will captain the side from right-back, Kjaer and Gabbia will be the central defenders and Theo Hernandez will make up the four-man defence at left-back.

In the midfield, Tijjani Reijnders will start next to Yacine Adli, who has a big game ahead of him, with Ismael Bennacer set to return in the fixture against Frosinone. Ruben Loftus-Cheek will start ahead of them in the ’10’.

Either side of the Englishman, as always, will be Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao. Olivier Giroud will lead the line.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Hernandez; Reijnders, Adli; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
