MN: RedBird, Yankees, Roc Nation and MSA to lead Milan into a new era

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to enter another new era in their history as RedBird Capital will soon acquire 99.97% of the shares from Elliott Management.

MilanNews report that the transition should take place in the next few days, and the latest news is that MLB franchise the New York Yankees and the Main Street Advisors fund – which includes investors such as LeBron James and Drake – will invest in Milan.

Why Milan? First of all that the Rossoneri brand has returned to have a resounding appeal even abroad, all thanks to both the results obtained on the field thanks to head coach Stefano Pioli and the choices made by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Getting the Yankees and Main Street on board means that Gerry Cardinale will ensure that Milan expand its name and its brand on American soil, which we know is one of the most prosperous markets in the sporting arena.

Milan’s entry into the YES Network (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) for the broadcasting of matches and other media content of the club will also be a further step towards a global growth of the club.

The plan is quite simple: the more money the club makes, the more spending power Maldini and Massara can have on the transfer market.

It cannot be forgotten either that there is already a partnership there with Roc Nation. The vision is to bring Milan to the top both at a corporate and sporting level, and that is why developments are expected on the stadium issue plus potential other investors, as Milan are ready for another new era.

Forget about getting the 2nd start before Inter does, the goal is getting the 4th star before Juventus gets it.
