MN: Three Milan players work individually as the Rossoneri resume training

AC Milan resumed training at Milanello today, ahead of their scheduled friendlies, and three players work separately today. The players in question are Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemaekers.

The trio has been out for quite some time now and Stefano Pioli is eager to welcome them back into action. It will certainly be a big boost for Milan for the second half of the season, having struggled with several absences thus far.

According to MilanNews, Maignan, Calabria and Saelemaekers all worked individually at Milanello today as was the plan from the start. All three, however, based on previous reports are close to returning to full training.

Maignan is perhaps the player that has been missed the most, especially given his ability to play out from the back. Calabria is another player that is needed numerically, allowing Pierre Kalulu to play at centre-back again (where he belongs).
