MN24: Man Utd ready to make proposal to Milan regarding future of defender

By Oliver Fisher -

Manchester United appear willing to let defender Diogo Dalot stay at AC Milan beyond the end of the season, according to a report.

Dalot joined the Rossoneri on a season-long dry loan, meaning that there is no option or obligation to buy included and Milan will have to negotiate in order to make sure that he remains beyond June.

According to MilanNews24, it is in fact United who are ready to make a proposal to Milan as the Red Devils have a plan in mind regarding the Portuguese defender. His future at Milan is not yet clear due to the inconsistent nature of his performances when called upon, but Dalot does not appear to fit into Manchester United’s plans.

Therefore, the Old Trafford club are willing to renew the loan for another year, including an option to buy as part of that to entice Milan into accepting the terms of the deal.
