Luka Modric has, as our colleague reports, just landed at Malpensa, ahead of his contract signing at AC Milan.

Today, then, is being titled as ‘Modric day’ as he will complete medicals and tests before a contract signing. Once this is completed, he will return to Malpensa to begin his holiday.

He quickly spoke to journalists, as Milan Posts relays on X, and he said that he was ‘very happy to be here, great challenges await me’.
