Jashari considers future
As MilanVibes relays from Sky Sport 24, Jashari’s future must now be watched. Indeed, the Swiss was seen as a key player until recently, but the renewal of Luka Modric’s deal may now change that. According to recent suggestions, the Croatian is now shaping up to re-sign with the club for another season, which is a major boost.
However, it would require potential sacrifices. To the club, he would remain crucial, but the Swiss may opt to give up on his dream club if it would hinder his minutes for another season, as Luca Marchetti stated.
“Ardon Jashari is undoubtedly one of Sarri’s Atalanta transfer targets. The Swiss’s first season at Milan was marked by limited playing time, especially due to the presence of Modric. Therefore, if the Croatian chooses to stay, he could find himself in the same situation next year.
“If he decides to leave to play more, Milan might even decide to accommodate him so as not to waste last year’s €35 million investment.”
Doubt it. Modric is not going to play at the same number of games.

Disagree. Man, we are essentially Atalanta’s feeder. They spend a year getting the hang of serie A and when they are ready, we send them to atalanta to bloom.
if he leaves, i cant but feel the same as when CDK left. Spent a year struggling with us, limited minutes etc. Just when he’s about to do well, have a proper pre-season, a year of experience, etc. we send them to Atalanta where he blossomed.

Thanks to all the Milan fans who wanted Modric thus stunting growth of younger players. I hope he stays for 10 years and gets played every game and we sign more big named older players so we can become slower. Ideally we can get Ronaldo so we can put Ramos on the bench as he’s the worlds best striker just like Milan supporters say Modric is best midfielder in the world when I said he shouldn’t be playing.
Fair enough if Jash feels hard done by. However with Europa League football opportunities may abound. The team will require depth and Modric will need rest. If not send him out on loan for this season and get him back when Modric bows out. No need to sell if we haven’t tested him fully. Ricci is also getting grumpy so Milan will have to manage these players for future use.
I’ve already written about this problem. We have two young and expensively paid players who need more time on the field to show why they were brought in. All praise to Modric for everything he gives for this jersey, but i think it would be wise to think about what we gain and what we lose with another season with him !? And yes.. i wouldn’t bet that this man will sit on the bench ! I even think he will have minutes on the field like this year. There will be more games, we will also play in the Europa League. If someone had told me before that a 41-year-old player would be the main creator and initiator of Milan’s game actions, i would have told him he was crazy! 😂

Ridiculous if true. Time for new blood. Modric should be a mentor and his minutes compressed. He shouldn’t be relied upon with heavy minutes and being the focal point in midfield but knowing how the club operates he’ll be getting same if not more minutes as last year
I say this as someone who appreciates what Modric has done in his career and even for us

Amorim already said that if Modric continues, he will be managed. So I think Jashari will (and should) get more chances than last season.
Are the days gone when fans expected players to play so well that they HAD to be included due to their stellar play?? Like Rabiot!

If Jashari plays well, he will get chances, if not, he won’t. Simple, its up to him. when the chances come, he has to show up. He hasn’t done that yet.
Well said. Players need to EARN their spots on the pitch. If you can’t manage to get enough minutes maybe you’re simply not good enough (or your attitude is wrong).
Milan should sell Ricci, Fofana, RLC, Leao, Tomori, Estupinan, Musah, Jashari, Gimenez and Pulisic (injury prone).
There’s no point in keeping these players. We need 2 defensive midfielders and another midfielder to replace Rabiot like Javi Guerra.
Sign Ederson or Manu Kone and another defensive midfielder. We also need another striker like Taty Castellanos. Another CB and of course another wingback and 2 attacking midfielders Alejbegovic and Can Uzun.

Craazy… Imposible to get rid of the whole team. One thing about our players they are not bad. they played in a bad system. hopefully with the new coach and playing style things will change
It was a joke to pay 35 M. for Jashari . Unbeliveable and very bad joke .He will never play Italian Nr.6 as it should be played , it is imposible mission. Let him go and get classic 6.-er
Problem is, they’re overcrowded in the midfield now with 2 spots available.
Rabiot – a no brainer. Must stay.
Modrić – still class. Leadership.
Ricci – Regulational necessity, still good if played in his role.
Jashari – Rough start to the season last year. Talented but needs to prove.
Fofana – Could be very useful in Amorim’s system while Allegri used him in wrong role. His stats from 24/25 basically copy paste of Rabiot’s stats from 25/26.
Comotto – a talent who’d benefit a lot from Modrić but at the same time needs to play.
So who should be let go?
I also have dream play for Milan too.
Sell Jashari imediatelly he will worst if stay and we lose 15m more for nothing.Still some will pay for him now 30mil
