AC Milan have a serious interest in Real Betis defender Juan Miranda and could make a move in January, according to a report.
Milan did not sign a new left-back during the summer transfer window, something that was in large part down to the fact that Fode Ballo-Toure only left the club for Fulham in a deadline day deal.

The decision was made to place trust in Primavera graduate Davide Bartesaghi but also rely on players like Alessandro Florenzi and Davide Calabria, who can both shift over to the left in case of emergency.
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto for Relevo, Milan are looking to fill the deputy left-back role as soon as they can, with Juan Miranda the name that is currently at the top of their list of targets.
He is in the viewfinder for next June, when his contract is currently set to expire. A lot depends on whether the 23-year-old will renew his deal, with Milan following developments closely.
