Moretto: Saudi club offer €40m per year deal to Milan target Morata

AC Milan could have one of their main targets snatched away by Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq as they prepare a mega deal for Alvaro Morata, a report claims.

As has been reported by Matteo Moretto from Relevo (via Football Italia), the Spanish striker is a target for multiple teams but one of them has much deeper pockets than the rest.

Milan have been in talks with the Atletico Madrid striker who Stefano Pioli is thought to be very keen on signing, but there is no way they can match the offer from Al-Ettifaq which would see Morata earn €40 million net as well as a €10m signing-on bonus.

There is confusion around how much it would cost to buy Morata with Sky Sport Italia saying he has a €10m release clause, whilst Spanish reports claim it is €25m.

AS Roma and Juventus have also both been linked with a move for Morata as they have their own striker needs.
