Mundo Deportivo: Milan and Wolves battling to land €25m-rated Barcelona defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Wolves are both keen on signing Barcelona centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo this summer, according to a report.

Milan are believed to be in the market for a new central defender given that they will start the 2020-21 season on Thursday with very thin depth due to the fact Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Mussachio are still recovering from injury.

Although Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic continues to be the name strongest linked, there have been other targets mentioned such as Saint-Etienne’s Wesley Fofana.

However, according to reports from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo (via MilanNews), Jean-Clair Todibo’s name has once again ended up on Milan’s wish list.

The 20-year-old made just 10 appearances after joining Schalke on loan, snubbing Milan in the process, but it appears that the young Frenchman may yet get another chance to move to San Siro.

The report mentions though that Premier League side Wolves are also interested, who the same outlet have claimed is valued at €25m.
