Yunus Musah has been given some advice regarding his future by AC Milan legend Massimo Ambrosini.

Musah signed for Milan from Valencia for a fee of around €18m in the 2023 summer transfer window, and he made 40 appearances in each of his first two seasons with Milan. However, his form was very up and down, and with several midfielders arriving this summer he was sent out to Atalanta.
Milan have already banked €4m from the loan, but Atalanta must be convinced to pay another €25m to buy permanently. The former Valencia man has been an unused substitute in five of the last nine league games for La Dea which says a lot, even if he did recently score twice in a week.
‘It’s not good for him’
GOAL spoke to Ambrosini about a number of topics, including the future of Christian Pulisic. They also asked him about the crossroads that might well be approaching for Musah this summer.
“You know what? Last year, Musah played not in his role. When there was [Sergio] Conceicao, the coach, he made Musah play on the wing, right wing. He didn’t perform very well,” he said.
“That’s why around him, when he used to play after that period, everybody in San Siro was chatting and it was not good for him. He needs to find another situation. But Atalanta, I don’t think is good for him because he is not playing.
“I think he’s a better player than what he showed at AC Milan. But the next step for him is finding a club who makes him play every day, every game. Because I know perfectly how difficult it is playing 30 minutes, two games off, 10 minutes.
“It’s not easy for him. But he’s a good player. For me, he’s a better player than what a lot of people here in Italy think.”
