CorSport: N’Dicka tempted as Maldini refuses to give up on pursuit – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in signing Evan N’Dicka from Eintracht Frankfurt and would be willing to make an investment this summer, a report claims.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have their eye on N’Dicka as a profile to reinforce the defence. His contract with Eintracht Frankfurt will expire in June 2023 so he could leave on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

N’Dicka is keen on the idea of joining Milan but at the moment the former Auxerre defender would prefer to see out his contract with the Bundesliga club and then pick his next club as a free agent. It must be considered that this season – thanks to the winning the Europa League – Eintracht will make the Champions League just like Milan.

Maldini is not giving up on signing him in the current window, but the expense for Charles De Ketelaere means that a €10m offer to buy N’Dicka immediately is the best the club can do, especially with a midfielder also seen as a necessity.
