CM: Nine finals to determine Scudetto fate – how Milan’s fixture list looks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in control of their own destiny from now until the end of the season, helped by the result between Torino and Inter last night.

Calciomercato.com reports how Milan have nine games to play and are currently three points clear, which could become only one if Inter were to win their game in hand against Bologna, but a date has not yet been set for that game to take place.

The Rossoneri are back in control of their own path in their quest for a first league win since 2010-11, and they know that by winning every game without thinking about the results of the other teams, they would do enough.

Milan have already played both games against Roma, Juve, Inter and Napoli, from here to the end there are still two ‘big’ clashes: in Rome against Lazio on 24 April and at home versus Atalanta on 15 May.

There are a couple of other games that stand out though such as the trip to face Torino on April 10 (they showed against Inter how resilient they are) and at the Bentegodi against Verona on May 8, plus the home game against Fiorentina on May 1 and closing the season against Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo on May 22.

In order Milan will play: Cagliari (away), Bologna (home), Torino (away), Genoa (home), Lazio (away), Fiorentina (home), Verona (away), Atalanta (home) and Sassuolo (away). Close to perfection will be needed.

  1. We really have some tough games on our away we need to play every game like a final in order for us to finish top of the table, and we can hope the likes of Inter, Napoli and Juventus to drop some points on the way

  2. Our main objective is to work hard and continue praying for good outcome in every game including TIM cup.
    May God help us.
