It is never straightforward with AC Milan, and the ending of this summer mercato is proving this again. Ideas are changing for the nth time.
There is an understandable period where Milan leave a deal for dead. With Victor Boniface, a second medical check ended the move, and now Conrad Harder’s stalling of a move effectively rules that one out.

So, the Rossoneri are going back to the drawing board again. However, it still seems that they are avoiding the blatantly obvious answer at this point.
Milan’s (new) plan
Late last night, the idea of Christopher Nkunku arose, and it seems that this is a very serious possibility. In fact, things are moving very quickly, and Antonio Vitiello writes that there is a new plan.

According to the journalist, on X, the idea now is to sign the Chelsea outcast permanently this summer, and then look at a loan deal for Artem Dovbyk from Roma. This aligns with the idea of two strikers coming in. However, it still brings up questions.
Put it this way, the Diavolo, in the past week, have nearly closed on three different ideas, as well as making steps towards Dusan Vlahovic. At this point, the effectiveness and clarity are only going to be questioned.

Stop spending money on garbage.
What should we spend on?
Dovbyk ok, but Nkunku on a permanent deal? I mean you could have signed Boniface in that case. Injury, injury and another injury. Milan trying to pick out the least risky injury prone guy other clubs want to get rid of. That is why Chelsea won’t loan him, he’ll be back there next season.
Anyway, Milan is completely lost. Panic transfers in the last few days to get anyone in instead of buying in June or July. We spent Fing 2 months on Jashari instead of focusing on a striker. Good job Tare.
Tare is not to be blamed for everything. Furlani is making us look like clowns with blocking all incoming transfers.
Dovbyk – yes, Nkunku – no. I prefer even injured Boniface than Nkunku.
.
apart from Dovbyk it could be Vlahovic, Pinamonti or Hugo Duro. even Boniface. but no permission for Nkunku. we had already Okafor. he was brilliant in the interviews, nothing else.
I read at Football Italia that Chelsea expect receiving €35-40 m for Nkunku, if that’s the case, how are Milan supposed to pull it off?
Hell no to Dovbyk. Had whole summer to get a proper striker & now picking up rotten leftovers from under the table. Disgraceful club.
We are disaster. And if true we want Cristensen for 30m from Barca then i not any words about transfer politics at this club.
Leoni is too much and Cristiansen 29old who not play at Barca is not,we are joke.
Only worst club at planet at this moment is Manchester United
You guys don’t see or realize what Chelsea is trying to give at meagre fee…the injury issue is now thing of the past. Christopher Nkunku is a striker cum winger who will give AC MILAN at least 15 to 20 goals Contributions in a season. He is technically sound and far better than those initially anticipating to sign. What’s a golden jewel Chelsea is about to give out to the Rosennerri
Haha – just as I wrote 10 min ago in the other article that we don’t need Dovbyk…
Vlahovic only. Dovbyk is already gassed as a player. And Nkunku? I’m indifferent.
French and from Chelsea? Moncada’s wet dream!!
