MN: Lang operation still alive as Milan have agreement over terms – the situation

One name that is attracting particular attention in the AC Milan orbit is Noa Lang of Club Brugge, who has reportedly emerged as an attacking target.

MilanNews report that Milan moved proactively to find an agreement with the winger over personal terms as his entourage had dinner with the Rossoneri management about two weeks ago. For his part, the player also seems to have a very strong personality as shown in various interviews, including one in which he mentioned Milan.

Last night’s goal for the Dutch national team – his first for his country at senior level – showed what the 22-year-old is capable of and many Milan fans do not want a repeat of the Romain Faivre situation where his outspoken nature might just have squashed the chances of the deal concluding.

The report mentions that every team needs a player who is a bit of a boaster and has some arrogance (or confidence) about them, whether they play against Real Madrid or a lesser-ranking side, and Lang could serve that purpose.

Brugge want €22m to sell and Milan are thinking after having found an agreement with Lang. If the Belgian club were to open to a figure below €20m, the operation would be more feasible, and he could end up arriving to replace Junior Messias who may be bought outright and then sold on to Monza.

  1. I’ve watched him and he really looks like a player that loves to play on LW but I hope we get it right and he will be a revelation at RW.
