AC Milan have been joined by a number of other teams in the race to land Portuguese full-back Nuno Mendes, according to a report.
O Jogo (via SportWitness) believe that Real Madrid have now entered the pack of clubs who are chasing the 18-year-old, with Juventus, Inter, Milan, Liverpool and Manchester United also in the running.
O Jogo adds that the talks for Nuno Mendes’ renewal with the Portuguese giants are ongoing and they may adjust his current €45m release clause.
Therefore, there could soon be news about a new contract for the teenager which would make signing him even more difficult, but for now at least it seems as though the Rossoneri are in the hunt.
This will of course fuel the idea that Manchester United are unwilling to sell Diogo Dalot on a permanent basis, and therefore give reason to the fact the management are looking for a new back-up left-back option.
