The date and time for AC Milan’s final game of the 2024-25 season against Monza at San Siro has now been confirmed.
Ultimately it will be a useless game for Milan, who – after their 3-1 defeat to Roma on Sunday night – can no longer qualify for a European place. The only thing left to ‘fight’ for is finishing eighth and thus avoiding a Coppa Italia game in August.
As the official website confirms, the game between Milan and Monza in the final round of Serie A will be played on Saturday 24 May at 20:45 CEST. It will be shown on DAZN in Italy.
What is perhaps more interesting is that Lega Serie A have announced that Napoli and Inter’s final matches of the 2024-25 season will take place on Friday night. The former will host Cagliari, one point ahead in the table, while the latter travel to Como.
There were some doubts about when the title decider would be played given that there is still a possibility of having a Scudetto play-off if the two teams finish the season level on points, with Inter are participating in the Champions League final on May 31.
