Official: Milan announce permanent departure of Primavera star Longhi

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan has announced that youth player Jordan Longhi has been sold on a permanent deal to Monza.

As announced by the AC Milan Youth Sector Twitter page, Longhi will be leaving the club after two years on the books of the Rossoneri.

Longhi is an 18-year-old attacker who was an important part of Milan’s impressive performance in the UEFA Youth League in the 2022/23 campaign.

That is what makes it a slightly surprising move for him to have been let go on a permanent basis.

He has made 22 Primavera appearances for Milan, getting two goals and three assists. He played seven UEFA Youth League appearances where he scored twice, whilst he also scored two goals in one Coppa Italia Primavera match.

Given he is now 18 and has shown a certain level of quality at youth level, Monza may look to get him into the first team much sooner than Milan would have done.

  1. Lol we always do this. Rather than loan or have a buyback we take paltry sums for a permanent transfer. Low iq move from management. Seems no different from the Milan of the past several years where we did this often for no real gain.
