Official: Milan announce the signing of talented Polish youngster

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan has announced the official signing of Polish youngster Mateusz Skoczylas on a three-year contract.

The move was announced on Monday afternoon by the AC Milan Youth Sector Twitter account which confirmed that a deal had been struck with Polish club Zaglebie Lubin.

Skoczylas was born in 2006 which makes him 16 years old and he is an extremely highly-rated attacking midfielder.

Sporting CIP had tried to make a late attempt to bring him to Portugal rather than Milan, but the offer from the Rossoneri was attractive enough that the move has still gone ahead.

His contract with Milan will run until June 30, 2026 and he will come into the youth setup as a very exciting prospect.

He arrived at Lubin in October 2022 and was moved up to Lubin’s second team recently in July 2023. He managed to make one appearance despite his young age before the move to Milan started to progress.
