Official: AC Milan vs. Atletico Madrid starting XIs – four changes from win over Spezia

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made four changes to the starting line-up to face Atletico Madrid compared to the one that beat Spezia on Saturday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic are out with respective Achilles and muscle issues, while Simon Kjaer and Junior Messias were also left out of the squad, but Alessandro Florenzi returned.

Pioli has gone with Mike Maignan in goal with Davide Calabria and Fikayo  Tomori on the right side of the defence, which will be completed by Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez.

Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie are the double pivot with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao making up the attacking trident behind Ante Rebic, who is the centre-forward with Giroud not yet at 100%.

    1. True, don’t know what Pioli sees in Kessie now that he has been continuously giving disappointing results. Today he showed her had no intention of staying
