AC Milan have officially announced that Devis Estiven Vásquez Llach has joined on a permanent deal from Club Guaraní in Paraguay.
Through a statement on the club website, Milan have confirmed that the goalkeeper has signed a deal lasting until 30 June 2026.
Born in Barranquilla (Colombia), Devis made his first-team debut with Guaraní in 2021 and went on to make 28 appearances for the Paraguayan outfit in the league and three in the Copa Libertadores. He has chosen to wear the number 77 shirt.
Vasquez will become the fifth Colombian in Milan’s history after Mario Yepes (from 2010 to 2013), Cristian Zapata (from 2012 to 2019), Pablo Armero (from 2014 to 2015) and Carlos Bacca (from 2015 to 2017).
He will take the last non-EU slot in the squad and is being signed for the future, given that the contracts of Antonio Mirante and Ciprian Tatarusanu are expiring in June and at present it seems that they will not be given a renewal.
Welcome to Milan!
